Rebecca Maguire (20, Belfast) is the new Miss Ireland 2012 after the organization dethroned the original winner Marie Hughes because her age does not meet the requirements set by Miss World. Maguire finished in second place during the Miss Ireland 2012 finals held at the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin. She will now represent Ireland in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on August 18.
