| Wen Xia Yu, Miss China was crowned Miss World 2012 during the finals held in Ordos, China. Sophie Moulds from Wales was 2nd place and 3rd place is Jessica Kahawaty of Australia. Completing the the top 7 finalists are Jamaica, South Sudan, India and Brazil. The semi-finalists are Kenya, Indonesia, Netherlands, United States, Spain, Philippines, England and Mexico.
