| Reasons why Yityish Aynaw, Miss Israel 2013 will compete in Miss Universe instead of Miss World:
1. With all the publicity with President Obama, and etc. She was requested to compete in Miss Universe 2013.
2. Israel withdrew from Miss World 2013 because of political reasons. Indonesia, the host country, does not recognize the State of Israel.
3. Miss Israel is currently in New York to help raise money for the Netanya Foundation, a Jewish charitable organization. She reportedly made a “courtesy call” to the Miss Universe Organization where she met with Ms. Shugart, and then later met with Donald Trump himself in his office. | |
